You can find lots of staff on the internet about “The Mountain: also called “Beverly Hills of Pattaya”, in general Pratumnak separates Pattaya from Jomtien, is home to the Royal Cliff hotels (built and got famous long before we had a real “property market” here).
Some 15+ years ago I was involved with some of my customers in building one of the first new houses in an area called”jungle full of snakes and boars” by a friend. Times have changed, land prices are up 10 + times but I heard some boars are left...
Wikipedia gives us this info: Pratumnak is on the south side of Pattaya and is popular for its viewpoints and the temple (Wat Phra Yai) on top of the hill. Pattaya Park and Pattaya tower are at the south end of Pratumnak and the Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (P.E.A.C.H), is positioned at the north end of Pratumnak. In recent years, Pratumnak has gained in popularity because of its more natural environment, nicer beaches, and its convenient location between Jomtien and Pattaya city.
One part is known as Cozy Beach with several hip sea view clubs and restaurants like Sky Gallery or Chocolate Factory
According to my research The Cliff condominium – built by the NOVA Group, completed in 2013 - was the first newly built highrise condominium after the Asian Crises (Tom Yum Crises)!
